A very late postjam update - Highscore added!

It's been a while since I made this little game for the GBJam last year.

I noticed, that every now and then, there are people on my site playing this game. So I thought it would be a nice idea to add a global highscore  or leaderboard so everyone can see and compare there score. First, I had no idea, how I can manage a working highscore. My programming knowledge is very limited and I am working with Construct and had no idea if this is even possible.

But I managed to create a simple HTTP command, that reads the data from a MySQL database I host on my own server and saves news entries. It's very simple and limited but that's all I need right now :)

Despite the new highscore feature, I fixed two small bugs. One of them gave the player the opportunity to easily collect points right at the beginning of the game.
